8TH GRADE INFORMATION NIGHT - Tuesday, September 9th; ballroom; 7pm - 8pm
On Tuesday, September 9th, at 7pm, we will be having an "8th Grade Information Meeting". If you recall, we had a similar meeting in May in which we broadly looked at the 8th grade year that was coming up. Well, 8th grade is formally here, so the meeting on Tuesday, September 9th will be where we go over more specific details about the high school preparation process, the timeline and share more about our England Trip planning, fundraising and logistics. Your hosts will be me, (David Marais), Stephanie Bender, Middle School Counselor, Mike Wasylenky, Social Studies teacher, and Angela Bruno, 8th Grade parent coordinator. The meeting will take place in the Ballroom, Commons Building and will begin at 7pm and should be over by 8pm. STUDENTS ARE ENCOURAGED TO ATTEND!
ENGLAND TRIP 2015: 8TH GRADE PASSPORT PHOTOCOPIES DUE to DAVID BY FRI. DEC. 5TH!
It is essential that we have a photocopy of your child's "picture and details" page of their current passport by Friday, December 5th, 2014. Please make sure the passport is valid through at least December 2015, (6 months beyond our return date). This is a requirement of the airline, so if you have not yet organized or renewed your child's passport, please get this taken care of as soon as possible. Currently, it takes about 4 - 6 weeks to process a passport.
Turn your passport photocopy into David Marais by December 5th. If it's more convenient, you can also email David a CLEAR, HIGH RESOLUTION scanned copy of the passport "picture and details" page. David's email is: firstname.lastname@example.org
ENGLAND TRIP FORMS AND ITINERARIES ALSO AVAILABLE TO DOWNLOAD HERE: in the class files part of this page.
